Overview

As a part of a 4-person UX research and design team, I worked with our client, Pilot.ly, to conduct an in-depth UX research analysis related to software usability. Specifically, we evaluated the current status of their survey software, which was used to quickly collect survey results from targeted audiences on media such as movie trailers, social advertisements, and show pilots. Through our research, we found key areas of growth opportunity, which we presented to our client in a final video presentation.

PROcess

Our client, Pilot.ly, operates in the area of video market research. We began by first creating a site interaction map then conducting interviews with key stakeholders, forming insights through affinity gathering, and then forming personas from those results. We then did conducted a survey analysis of competitors and conducted a heuristic analysis of the specific section of the site related to survey creation and logic. These findings informed the development of a survey, which we made in Qualtrics. Finally, we conducted 5 usability tests with further define our insights. The amalgamation of our findings was refined in a report video and presented to the client.
